Tradies don't trust "rewards". The platform had to prove it was legit on every screen.
Blue-collar audiences have seen every giveaway scam on Facebook. Traded Australia needed to look and behave like a registered business from the first scroll — ABN, permit numbers, real partner logos, real winners with faces and states, and a member portal where you can see your own entries. Trust is the product; the giveaways are the hook.
Underneath, the mechanics had to run themselves. Four subscription tiers and one-off packages, each with its own monthly entry count that accumulates and never resets; site-wide discounts by tier; early-bird and event perks for the top tiers; the ability to pause rather than cancel; and a partner network that grows through an application form. All of it on a stack a small team could campaign on between live-stream draws.
Build the trust layer. Engineer the entries. Grow the network.
Design for the audience
Direct, no-nonsense tone and a bold hero — “Getting on the tools? Get on Traded!” — with permit numbers, ABN and the TIACS partnership in plain sight. Built to read as legitimate on a phone at smoko.
Engineer the VIP tiers and accumulating entries
Four recurring subscriptions plus one-off packages, with monthly accumulating entries (2, 6, 20 or 50) that stack for as long as the membership is active, tier-based site-wide discounts (10% to 25%), early-bird and event perks, and cancel-or-hold anytime — all enforced automatically at renewal.
Build the member portal
A logged-in dashboard where members see their orders, their live entry count into every draw, and the member-only partner discounts — the single screen that answers “am I actually in the draw?”
Build the partner network
A public partners row of real Aussie businesses, a discounts page gated to members, and a become-a-partner flow so suppliers, tool brands and trades can join and offer deals.
Build the trade promotion system
Giveaway pages with permit numbers, automatic entry allocation from memberships and packages, a past-winners wall with names and states, and the anti-scam messaging around how winners are contacted — compliant, transparent and easy to relaunch for every new prize.
