Mortgage brokers all look the same online. YLS couldn't afford to.
Lending is a trust purchase. The person on the other side is about to share their income, their debts and their plans with someone they found online. Most brokerages meet that moment with a stock photo of a handshake and a rate calculator. YLS works at the premium end — commercial structures, SMSF, ex-pat, private lending — and needed a brand and a website that signalled strategy, discretion and experience before a single conversation.
There was no existing identity to build on. The brief was the whole thing: a brand from scratch, then a website that could explain ten distinct lending products to very different clients — a first home buyer and a property developer — without diluting the premium positioning, and move every one of them toward booking a consultation.

Build the brand. Then build the website to carry it.
Define the positioning
Educate. Implement. Prosper. YLS positioned as a premium lending partner built around strategy, service and results — not the lowest rate. Tone, values and messaging set before any visual work.
Design the identity
Logo system, colour palette, typography and brand applications designed to read as considered and established — closer to a boutique advisory firm than a mortgage shopfront.
Design the website around the brand
A video-led hero, generous spacing, confident typography and a restrained palette applied to every page. The site is the brand's first and most important application.
Structure ten products for two kinds of client
A lending solutions grid with ten dedicated pages, each written for its audience, plus Who We Cater To and Your Client Journey pages so a first home buyer and a developer both find their path in one click.
Map the journey and make the ask
An eight-step client journey from first call to post-settlement reviews that removes uncertainty, and a single, repeated call to action — Book a Consultation — built into every section on a custom WordPress build the YLS team can run themselves.
